Europe is the largest market, representing 45.2% of WW Advanced Dressings in FY2019 according to SmartTRAK’s Financial Dashboard, resulting from companies’ continuous activity in Europe to introduce new products as an answer to the ageing population issue, to the reimbursement challenges and to the increasing number of chronic wounds. New technologies are expected to bring more solutions in the near future, though a lot of work still needs to be done to increase awareness of these technologies.
