Strategic Account Executive – Wound Care

SmartTRAK is looking for a Strategic Account Executive to grow and deepen relationships across the wound care market. This is an individual contributor role for someone who can combine commercial selling skills with strong marketing instincts—someone who understands how to position value, tell a compelling story, and close consultative deals with wound care companies.

The Role
This is not a high-volume, transactional sales role. You will manage a focused set of target accounts and opportunities, running a consultative sales process that helps customers translate data into decisions.
You’ll work closely with internal partners (analysts, marketing, and leadership) while owning your territory and outcomes end-to-end.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—for SmartTRAK platform subscriptions and advisory engagements
- Develop and expand relationships with wound care manufacturers, innovators, and strategic partners
- Lead discovery conversations to understand customer priorities and align SmartTRAK capabilities to real business needs
- Craft tailored proposals and commercial packages; negotiate and close agreements
- Drive account expansion and renewals through strong customer engagement and value realization
- Collaborate with marketing on messaging, positioning, and campaign ideas that resonate in wound care
- Represent SmartTRAK at key industry meetings and conferences
What Sets You Apart
- 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing in wound care or closely related MedTech markets with established industry connections
- Proven performance in a quota-carrying sales role, ideally involving enterprise or multi-stakeholder deals
- Strong marketing orientation (positioning, messaging, segmentation, go-to-market thinking)
- Credible and comfortable engaging senior stakeholders (commercial, product, strategy, BD, finance)
- Consultative selling style—leads with insight, asks great questions, and earns trust
- Highly organized, proactive, and accountable in an individual contributor role
- Willingness to travel ~35%
