SmartTRAK Link to Verb

1.41 Do Not Link to Analyst Reports

Do NOT link to analyst reports. Also do NOT add attachments or links to analyst reports to Company or Product profiles.

1.42 Referencing clincialtrials.gov

Link to the verb and write clinicaltrials.gov at the end of the update in italics. Please note, clinicaltrials.gov is all lower case.

1.43 Referencing Journals or Meetings/Conferences

Link to the verb and write the abbreviation for the journal.

SmartTRAK Reference Journal

For meeting papers or presentations, link to the verb and in italics write the meeting abbreviation, followed by the year and then Paper or Presentation followed by the paper/presentation number if available.

Reference Meeting Paper without Number

SmartTRAK Reference Meeting Paper with Number

For conferences, please use the following conventions:

From Company Website (link to the verb and cite at the end of the update): JP Morgan 40th Annual HC Conference
From Unhedged (link to "JP Morgan HC Conference Transcript"): 2022 JP Morgan HC Conference Transcript on Unhedged.com

No need for the ticker symbol in the updates since the update links directly to that company - just to save space for more characters in the update.

TICKER 2022 JP Morgan HC Conference
For example: JNJ 2022 JP Morgan HC Conference

1.44 Referencing Earnings Releases and Presentations

Earnings Releases and Earnings Presentations are linked to the title/year of the report followed by Earnings Release or Earnings Presentation. This is all italicized and written at the end of the text.

Earnings Release

Earnings Presentation

 1.45 Earnings Call Transcripts

1.47 Referencing Financial Dashboard

Be sure to write a market update(s) when you publish your Financial Dashboard numbers. Link to the phrase SmartTRAK's Financial Dashboard. Make sure the link is on the customer-facing side and NOT the management side. Reference it in italics as shown below.

1.48 Referencing SmartTRAK Articles

In Updates:
Be sure to write a market update(s) when you publish an article. Use the headers in the article
as headlines and as an outline for ordering updates. To reference a SmartTRAK article in updates, use the link as shown below. Please note: The entire article name is italicized, linked and there is no period after the citation. Cite SmartTRAK somewhere in the update but not in the article title itself unless it is a formal part of the article’s title.

Examples:
Total Joints Trends Heading into 2023: Tempered Procedural Growth

SmartTRAK is observing more overlap among various devices including SCS and PNS therapies as well as other procedural treatments. Learn more about the blurring boundaries between interventional pain, orthopedic and spine in Pain Intervention: A Market of Moving Targets

In-Text Citations in Articles:
When writing an article, SmartTRAK gets additional article views for a “callback” and link to a
previous SmartTRAK article(s) placed in the text of that article. Of course, it has to be relevant to
the article. A callback citation to another article needs to be treated like a normal source citation. Be sure to note that it’s SmartTRAK’s, italicize it and use title case capitalization.

Examples:
Medical device companies attracted to the growing ASC and outpatient surgery market are continuing to develop and position technologies as solutions for this care setting. At the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) 2022 Annual Meeting in November, many companies promoted the advantages of their products for the ASC setting. See SmartTRAK’s analysis article AAHKS 2022: Economics and the Shift to ASCs .

Globally, BSX said underlying DBS procedure growth is stable and the Company is seeing momentum in the US as it moves to full launch of STIMVIEW XT, its advanced visualization software for DBS imaging/programming. See SmartTRAK’s STIMVIEW XT: A New Approach to DBS Programming.

1.6 Revenue vs. Revenues

Always refer to revenue as singular. Use "revenue" not "revenues"

1.7 Use of Ticker Symbols

Use SNN rather than S&N
