Position: Account Manager – Customer Success

We are BioMedGPS, the creators of the SmartTRAK platform. We are the leading strategic advisory and healthcare analytics provider in the life sciences industry. Our team is once again expanding and seeking an Account Manager who can grow with us. The Account Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining strategic relationships with our medical device clients.

About SmartTRAK
SmartTRAK is the first real-time online business intelligence portal used by major orthopedic, wound, regenerative medicine and neuro therapies companies. We are driven by data but fueled by insights. Our market intelligence is curated by our analysts/industry experts. The top players in the industry rely on our up-to-date data, analytics, and competitive intelligence to make better, more informed strategic business decisions.

About You
You have experience and/or knowledge in the medical device field. You are curious about learning and using new technologies. You are passionate about developing relationships and working proactively in partnership with clients to help the most value from SmartTRAK. You can easily communicate concepts through clear written and oral communication with clients. You are comfortable working with a remote team and are excited to pitch in and help grow and evolve our business.


  • Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders of current and new clients
  • Establish relationships with client decision makers to identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Identify trends and customer needs
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, and presentations
  • Regularly communicate client performance to leadership, including client successes and issues, market opportunities, changing conditions, and any other factors influencing health of the client
  • Attend industry events/conferences to represent SmartTRAK and generate leads within existing accounts
  • Organize and facilitate quarterly business reviews (QBR) with assigned customers
  • Work closely with GM’s, Sales, and Analysts to clearly communicate client requirements and to address/resolve client inquiries
  • Review SmartTRAK utilization, remediate user challenges and/or repurpose existing seats
  • Be available to work on additional projects as assigned
  • Professional communication internally

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with strong record of academic achievement
  • 5+ year experience in account management
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and engage within all levels of management, stakeholders, and peers alike
  • Ability to deliver presentations
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong achievement skills and always meets deadlines
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy, committed to excellence, continuously looks for improvements
  • Works independently but also a team player
